    EU-India regional workshop named “Terrorist Content Online “

    Global Counter Terrorism Council an India based CIVIL SOCIETY Think Tank is pleased to announce that an MoU was signed on 11/05/2024 between the EU- GCTC graced by H. E. Mr. Hervè Delphin, Ambassador of the EU to India and Convenor, GCTC Aditya Tikoo, the agreement on the Joint Track 1.5 Dialogue in the field of Counter-Terrorism and Preventing Counter-Violent Extremism outlined in the MOU.
    This project is about to commence in August which will act as a stepping stone for India-EU 2025 Summit. The proposed partnership aims to implement a workshop named “Terrorist Content Online state of play : EU-INDIA regional Workshop on the exploitation of Online Spaces by terrorist actors (TCO)” Members of GCTC present on MOU signing occasion were Vice Admiral Shekhar Sinha, Lt General Arun Sahni(R), Ambassdar Manjeev Puri (R), Dr Karnal Singh Former Chief Enforcement Directorate, Col Dr Shailendra Singh and others. This partnership between GCTC and the EU delegation through ESIWA project will be mutually beneficial and lead to meaningful outcome and make a positive impact in Counter Terrorism in the region. This regional workshop will include participants and speakers from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives also.
