Security attacks have evolved and become more complex with a rise in technically advanced scams and non-technology focused attacks that exploit human vulnerabilities. About Us

Global Counter Terrorism Council is a registered non-profit, non-partisan international think tank initiated by public spirited individuals to awaken further issues of national interest and global conscience about terrorism as a threat to humanity, human security and global peace.

Members from diverse backgrounds like former senior bureaucrats, academicians, former officers from the armed forces and paramilitary services, distinguished former diplomats, leading researchers, media analysts, parliamentarians, human right leaders etc. provide support and regularly contribute to the work of the council, with the aim to deliberate on the root causes of global terrorism and to present effective solutions to the problems faced by society and the government.

The GCTC’s mission is to shape intellectual discourse by transforming the “think” in think tank into “action” through a head, heart and feet strategy; the head being research, data gathering, surveying and academic partnerships; the heart being civic education, training and development; and the feet being on the ground organizing conferences, round tables, seminars, study courses and issue based campaigns.

The GCTC seeks to impact public discourse, and train and educate new leadership to bring together the best minds to ideate on key national and international issues that further the cause of global peace and harmony. The aim is to anticipate, formulate and execute strategies for sustainable human development. Through insightful and thought provoking studies based on credible research work, GCTC will raise awareness on matters relating to defense and security of India and her citizens, and bring it to the notice of policy and decision makers at the highest level.
