The Global Counter Terrorism Council (GCTC) has been organizing Kargil Vijay Diwas annually in July as our signature event since its inception. This event commemorates the victory of the Kargil war, which serve remembrance of the soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice while defending our nation’s sovereignty.
In continuation of this tradition, GCTC is organizing a conference titled “Kargil Vijay Diwas 2023” on July 26, 2023 at 2:30 PM Onwards. The conference will be held on Hybrid Mode (Haryana Bhawan, Copernicus Marg, New Delhi, and Via Google Meet), and the theme is “Kargil to Galwan; Lessons Learned and Way Ahead.” The event aims to honor and recognize the valor and contributions of our soldiers and unsung heroes, and aims to pay tribute to our soldiers, acknowledging their unwavering patriotism in safeguarding our nation’s territorial integrity.
The conference had active participation from the Indian Arm Forces, former Governor, national security experts, State Police forces, academicians, and scholars, policy analysts, journalists, and representatives from various institutions. This event will be witnessed by Ministers, Bureaucrats, Member of Parliament, armed forces personnel’s.
This event will also be witnessed by the family members of martyrs, media’s, NCC cadets, students, academician’s etc. This event will serves as a crucial platform for engaging key stakeholders, fostering dialogue, and facilitating knowledge exchange on the lessons learned from past conflicts and current India’s defence compatibility with emerging modern warfare.
