As a Research Coordinator at the Global Counter Terrorism Council (GCTC), I am engaged in research and analysis across both traditional and non-traditional security domains, with a focus on counter-terrorism, geopolitical developments and emerging global threats. In addition to leading and supporting key research initiatives, I am also actively involved in the planning and coordinating of key conferences, expert roundtables, and policy dialogues. Aishwarya Prasad
I am Aishwarya Prasad, currently serving as a Research Coordinator at the Global Counter Terrorism Council (GCTC), a leading think tank dedicated to counter-terrorism and broader domains of international relations. In this role, I have developed a strong foundation in research coordination, strategic communication, and policy analysis. My responsibilities include authoring conference reports, opinion pieces, concept notes, research articles, and policy briefs, while maintaining high editorial standards through rigorous quality analysis and proofreading. I have conducted in-depth research on over 500 bureaucrats, industrialists, and critical policy frameworks, supporting strategic decision-making processes. Additionally, I have successfully conceptualized and developed event agendas, engaged in consultations with government officials and thought leaders, and contributed significantly to the planning and execution of high-level conferences and webinars.
Mohd Kamil
Mohd Kamil is an interdisciplinary professional with a strong academic background and field experience in public policy, human rights, and development studies. He holds a double Master’s degree—an M.A. in Development Studies from Ambedkar University Delhi (Batch 2020–22) and an M.A. in Human Rights and Duties Education from Jamia Millia Islamia (Batch 2018–20).
He recently completed his tenure at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis (AIGGPA), Bhopal, where he worked as a Research Associate to the Hon’ble Minister. In this capacity, he was actively engaged in policy research, documentation, and analysis on key governance issues.
Mohd Kamil’s core areas of expertise include Human Rights, International Law, and Public Policy Analysis. His work reflects a deep commitment to social justice, participatory governance, and inclusive development. He brings with him a unique blend of academic rigor and hands-on policy engagement, making him a valuable contributor to research and advocacy in the development sector.

My career spans roles with prominent names such as The Indian Express, Dainik Bhaskar, Lokmat (a leading Marathi daily), Sandesh (a renowned Gujarati daily), NE TV, CNBC, and Radio.
Throughout my journey, I have built a solid foundation in Sales, Marketing, Public Relations, and Man Management. My expertise also extends to conceptualizing and executing topic-specific associations that resonate with audiences and align with organizational goals. I am known for fostering strong intra and inter-organizational relationships, which have consistently contributed to successful collaborations and impactful outcomes.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science along with a Diploma in Business Administration, blending analytical thinking with strategic business acumen.
Shalaka Sarwate
Shalaka Sarwate is an economist and policy researcher with a strong academic background in Economics and Finance. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Economics from the Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics. Her experience spans public policy, ESG, climate finance, with a focus on evidence-based research and policy design. She is proficient in statistical tools such as Stata, R, SPSS, and Bloomberg, and is skilled in both qualitative and quantitative research methods. Her core interests include international relations, energy transitions, and sustainable development. Shalaka is passionate about contributing to impactful research that drives inclusive and equitable policy outcomes.
